Us Avs fans are too pissed off to post hockey stuff. We are clinging for dear life for a playoff spot. We must win the next 4 games to lock it up. Only problem is we have a tough ass schedule for the remaining 9 games or so...

tonight they play, and tonight I have my semi finals playoff game against the #1 seed. We both better come out on top. The avs I think have the coyotes who are SUPER Hot right now!

Just ridin' along, seeing where we'll end up in the final standings...hopefully we don't see the Devils down the line. If we do, we'll have to remember HOW to beat them!

Med-where you been, buddy? Everyone I know thinks I'm nuts (what's new), but I see some small cracks in my Pen's armor this season. Unless they are just waiting for the playoffs to turn it on, we may not have it this year.

Say what you want, but believe me when I tell you this-my Pens ain't gonna do it this year. There is something missing, something lacking-it's plain to see, as we can't beat the Caps and Devils for whatever reasons...oh sure, we'll probably win a playoff round, maybe two-but I think that we are out of steam. The announcers said last night " just because the Caps won all regular-season meetings does that mean they'd win in the playoffs?" and the other announcer said "oh no, the playoffs are a whole different game" which is true, but I just don't see that "spark" this year.

Either way, I can't complain as it has been a great run...

They finished strong but too little too late and they blow the draft pick. Will probably pick between 4-6. Still a good player

I predict a Caps vs Hawks final. Yes I will probably be wrong but that could be a fun one to watch IMHO.

The goaltending could do those teams in.

Dark horse team in the West. The Phoenix Coyotes. What a great season they have had.

Dark horse in the East, maybe Ottawa? I think all the big boys of Caps, Pens and Devs win their early rounds. Buffalo is pretty good as well but can they score enough. They certainly have the goaltending to go far.

I know my Canes let me down but I love hockey and will watch whomever is in. I love the NHL playoffs. It is the sport that is much better in the playoffs than the regular season. Esp OT. No stupid shootout lol

Niederreiter is starting to move up on some of the draft boards. He may not be there when Carolina picks. He wasn't even in the top 15 when I made that mock, but now that all the seasons are ending I think more scouts are turning in reports on players.

Med, another update for you...

The Hurricanes traded for Jared Staal (Eric's youngest brother) today. They gave Phoenix a 5th round pick for him. He hasn't developed liek the other brothers did, but he's got great upside. It's a great move for a 5th rounder.
