Value, my friend, value. All these guy will drop and for teams that don't need them to be an immediate impact, they have the chance to be good value picks down the road.

Yeah, this is clearly the best WR class ON PAPER in quite a while.

Bryant, Benn, Tate, LaFell, Gilyard, D Thomas, Gilyard, Shipley, Alexander, Decker, Briscoe, etc...

I wouldn't touch Danario Alexander with a 20 foot pole. The guy has had three seperate ACL surgeries on his left knee, and now this new information about needing repair to the cartilage on that same knee. Let's hope the Broncos stay away from him.

Draft stock rising for UNC's Thomas

Quote:
ESPN's Todd McShay compiled a list of five players whose draft stock is rising, and former UNC defensive tackles Cam Thomas made the cut.

Here's what McShay had to say about Thomas:

The Senior Bowl was not an ideal forum for this 331-pound inside plugger to showcase his potential value in the NFL, and the combine won't be any better. Still, Thomas is one of the better two-gap run-stuffers in this year's defensive tackle class, and his kind is in high demand in the NFL right now. Don't be surprised to hear his name called at some point during Round 2.

Possible homes: Denver, Miami, Pittsburgh, New England, San Diego, New York Jets

Tim Tebow struggled at the Senior Bowl last month and said afterward that he was "definitely open" to improving his fundamentals. It appears that he's a man of his word.

NFL Network's Michael Lombardi reported Monday that although Tebow will not throw at the NFL Scouting Combine this week in Indianapolis, the quarterback is changing his throwing delivery and will unveil it at the University of Florida's March 17 pro day.

Combine on NFL.com, NFL Network
NFL.com and NFL Network will provide exclusive day-by-day scouting combine coverage starting on Thursday, Feb. 25 and running through Tuesday, March 2.

Tebow's slow delivery has been the talk of the offseason. He had success with the motion in college, winning two BCS national championships and one Heisman Trophy, but many scouts believe he needed to change for the NFL.

In his first showcase for NFL scouts, Tebow completed 8 of 12 passes but none longer than 11 yards at the Senior Bowl. He also fumbled twice while taking snaps from under center.

"I think I'm definitely open to improving my fundamentals," Tebow said then. "I think I definitely showed that by being here. If you just watched the way I played, you could see there is room for improvement and what I need to work on."

i got a funny feeling mcD might want this guy for a 2 year project....if we dont draft clausen i think tebow is a bronco

He's good player, but he didn't flash enough during the season from him to be 2nd rounder.

and dan williams didn't flash enough to be a top ten, top fifteen pick, either. . .

looks like there's going to be a serious premium on nosetackle prospects this year. . . too bad for us-- we would have to be in the market at the exact same time as miami, new york, pittsburgh, san diego and possibly buffalo. . .

Don't worry this one of the deepest draft ever when comes to DT and NTs. There a number of guys that will be sitting latter in the draft that will impact in NFL.

Ummm...yer wrong on this one Doggie. Noone who watched ANY UT games should make that statement. I'm not gonna say I saw that many UNC games, but I saw EVERY UT game this year. ALL OF EM. With no exception, the player that the commentators would gush about was Williams. They would be on his nuts by mid 3rd quarter. Dude was devastating each and every game. PERIOD.

Now does that make him a 3-4 NT sure thing? No, cuz he played in a 4-3. But there is no way anyone can say he didn't shine all year long.

I think the comment was that he didnt shine enough to push himself into a top 10-15 draft pick. I agree with that comment.

Yeah but this is the right year for it to happen with the Broncos. We draft before 4 of those 5 teams, and the one that drafts before us is also desperate for OL and QB. If we want the top NT in the draft, he should be there at our 1st round pick.

On another note, it was announced today that the Steelers will be franchising Casey Hampton, so that's 1 less team in the running. Look for Pittsburgh to go after an Olineman before NT in the 1st round.

"The Detroit Lions are actively shopping the second overall pick in April's draft, according to a league source, and would be very comfortable trading down, looking to stockpile three or four assets. The Lions have already been in discussions with other teams about the prospect, according to the source, and have ample time to make such a move before the draft begins April 22. Given the uncertain labor and economic climate in the NFL, finding a trading partner might not be easy, but the possibility remains that a club may want to move into the top two to ensure it lands one of the two dominant defensive tackles in the draft — Nebraska's Ndamukong Suh and Oklahoma's Gerald McCoy — who many ..."

"If you're among the Bucs followers who believe Tampa Bay has at least one too many running backs, the San Diego Chargers just may have a deal for you. According to an ESPN report late Tuesday, the Chargers are looking for help at running back and are willing to trade cornerback Antonio Cromartie to get it. The report doesn't list the Bucs among the teams that have a wealth of running backs, but everyone who follows the Bucs closely knows they do. With Cadillac Williams, Derrick Ward, Earnest Graham, Clifton Smith and Kareem Huggins on the roster the Bucs could afford to give up a front-line back, especially if it means getting a front-line corner in return.
