I’ll admit that it’s weird and I wasn’t sure I was going to stick with it three or four episodes in, but then I began to understand the premise.

I really liked the mini series Bodies by Netflix. I don’t think you have to like the Sci Fi genre to really appreciate it, but if you like murder mysteries in general, you should like this one. I got sucked into this dark story with just the 1st episode.
In present day 2023, a detective from London discovers a fresh corpse with an eye shot out in an alleyway. Cut to 1890, then to 1941, and then 2053, and the same corpse is found in the exact same position and alleyway. You’ll spend the first handful of episodes just trying to figure out what the heck is going on, but eventually the mystery starts to unfold.
Back to the Future meets The Terminator, meets a good procedural murder mystery(s). Each timeline has a detective assigned to unravel the case, and of course they all have troubled lives and secrets. The story does have a conclusion, but the final scene ends in such a way that leaves the door open for a possible 2nd season which I would really like.

Have any of you watched Ted Lasso?
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

I read the book first (about a week before I watched) and really enjoyed the book.
I got through the first episode and a half and stopped watching due to soooo many needless changes to the original source material.
If you have not read the book then you'll probably like it because the production value is really good.
I just couldn't figure out why they would make so many changes to such a beautiful story.
