Why not welcome the Broncos first round pick QB? Perhaps it’s my approach with my thread? Then again, you have all these couch QBs pretending they know or even played football. Or any sports? !!

For example?

I'm assuming both Bo Nix can hit routes in the center of the field and will be able to step up into the pocket instead of panic scrambling every play. Payton has Pete Carmichael back, so the offensive scheme should be solid. I'm cautiously optimistic that Bo Nix can have a solid season, but anything less than a playoff run in his 2nd season and I don't see how he will make it to a 2nd contract. This has to be a lightning quick turnaround.

The plus side is, none of you clowns are NFL GMs, so the Broncos did not trade Patrick Surtain II and their next two first round picks to jump up to pick 6 for McCarthy. Coming out of the draft with next year's 1-3 is a win for the organization. Next year's QB class is lacking, but 2026 could be better than this year's class.
