Three guys from draft weekend will contribute early this year, probably Day 1. Although he prolly won’t be the starter at the beginning of TC, I expect Bo Nix will be the starter by the 2nd or 3rd preseason game. Nothing will be given to him, but Payton’s hand-picked boy will show in camp he’s ready to start.

Estime’ will spell Williams on 1st & 2nd down while we bludgeon teams to death. He isn’t the starter if Williams is healthy, but he probably will be next year, and you guys will love him. I already do, he’s a bruiser.

The Franklin-Meyer’s trade for a 2026 6th was brilliant, imo. He is an instant starter opposite of Zach Allen, and fills a huge need. He started 50 out of 51 games on an excellent defense for the jets the last 3 yrs. There is no one they could have drafted in the 3rd day that would be a better pick and contribute day 1 like Franklin-Meyers will. So why was he available? When the jets signed Riddick, Franklin Meyers became a salary dump.

Thank god, for a moment there I was afraid the Broncos took Brock Purdy with the 12th overall pick.

Imagine mentioning Purdy in the same breath as Brady, PFM and Phyllis Rivers and expecting people to take you seriously. They literally had NFL arm talent.
