Same. I never really liked the current unis.

I will withhold judgement on the new unis until I see them on field, but I kinda like what I’ve seen so far.

I used to think Saab’s were cool looking, then I saw one just this weekend and now it looks old and worn out, like a tube sock that’s so stretched out that it just lays in a saggy heap around the ankles . . . that’s the old D. A saggy, worn out tube sock.

This might be reading too much into it, but the thought struck me that possibly one reason we didn't go with a blue color more like the throwbacks is that the Penners didn't want the new unis to be associated with Walmart. The colors are very similar and you know if they had incorporated that blue into the new unis instead of this darker blue color there'd be some people making that association instead of the old uni color. Most of us super freaks who post daily on a Broncos MB would have gotten it but a ton of others would have missed the point.

How do you think they got stretched out?

These uniforms have grown on me. Definitely an improvement over the old ones.

1. The helmet stripe sucks ass
2. I don't love the matte
3. The white helmet looks like trash, especially with the all navy
4. The navy seems a little darker which I don't love. They should find a happy medium between navy and royal
5. The socks need stripes or something

Everything else is basically a W. Overall I'd give it a B, whereas the old ones were a C.

The best combinations:

-every away option is sexy
-the main home would be better with not white socks
-the all blues would be good with a navy helmet
-any option with the white helmet is a no (all white away with a white helmet might look cool)
-orange top/blue bottoms might look cool
-blue top/orange bottoms is disgusting
