I'm selling an old laptop to a friend, but I still want to make sure that all my personal data has been deleted from it before I do. I know you needed to buy special programs to do this years ago, but is their a simpler way to do it now?

Do or Do Not...No Try.
Not that I know of if you want to do it right. Still have to over write each memory location. Takes hours.
