Default Atlanta Falcons to name Dan Quinn as head coach

The Atlanta Falcons have zeroed in on a new head coach and are patient enough to wait for him to become available.

The Falcons will announce Dan Quinn as their new head coach on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport reported Sunday on NFL Network's NFL GameDay Morning.

Rapoport also reported that Kyle Shanahan will join Quinn as the Falcons' offensive coordinator and run an attack loaded with a talented franchise quarterback in Matt Ryan and dominant wide receiver in Julio Jones. Quinn will add Richard Smith as Atlanta's defensive coordinator.

I know some wanted Quinn badly as our new HC but Kubiak feels too much like a favourite snuggly blanket to pass on . And how can something that feels so right possibly be wrong?

I don't want the Broncos turned into a bunch of doubly dirty juiced head hunters anyway. I know some folks think 11 Romanowskis would be good, but one was too many for me. I mean, if that's an acceptable way to win, Rae Carruth gets out in 2018, and Aaron Hernandez could theoretically be acquitted; should Elway call their agents?
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. Jaded

Great hire by Falcons. If he can turn that defense into half the attitude Seattle has, they are going places, especially with that offense.

As long as he hasn't lost his drug dealers pager number, his accomplishments will surely match those in Seattle. Unless the refs decide spearing WRs in the back of the skull's only legal for his old team.

Right - next you're going to actually try the argument that the NFL is indeed some conspiracy theory that doesn't punish them for their "illegal" play.
