A Bittersweet Father’s Day…
Dad, Happy First Heavenly Father’s Day. Unfortunately, we are experiencing a difficult time today and we are still grieving differently. Therefore; We honor your memory with love and gratitude. I recall the playful water fight on a happy summer day and striving to live life to the fullest... just as you taught us. This vintage photo is one of my favorite moments with you. That was a very happy summer. I still cherish it. I miss you and I love you.
That day, (July 1993) we had a summer/BBQ party and we had a big water balloon fight with friends. We ran out of water balloons. Dad kept the water fight rolling by using his water hose. He watered me down and I was soaked. Dad was a big-time winner. Good old times.
Father's Day can be bittersweet for those of us without fathers, a reminder of the good times and all the times you'll never again share. Happy Father's Day from California

Wish I could visit my Dad in Heaven.
It has been ten months. It still hurts as ****... I have to deal with it.
